  • What is the Guardian Network? The Guardian Network is an Online Asset Locator Service designed to serve our members. Our mission is to ensure that our members' heirs are able locate and know what exists and where they are located...So the member's assets do NOT become UNCLAIMED and are located and passed on to their rightful heirs.

  • Why do I need to join the Guardian Network? Because it is very important that you protect what you own and worked so hard for all your life. The Guardian Network will ensure that what is yours stays yours and goes to your family and/or heirs.

  • How do my heirs retrieve my information? Upon the death of the member, one or all of the Guardians that the member chose, would contact the Guardian Network. They would have to submit an original death certificate of the member, their Guardian ID card and ID. We would verify everything is correct, and provide the Guardian access to said Member's information. Remember, the Guardian(s) still can not take the member's assets, they still need to follow the terms of the member's Will and the law. Our sole purpose, is that they know it exists, and they notify the member's family and/or attorney of the existence and the location of the assets the member entered.

  • What is a GUARDIAN? A GUARDIAN is the person the member chooses (we recommend they choose 3 or more) that we can release their login and password to, upon the member's death or incapacitation. The GUARDIAN can then login to the member's info and know what exists and where it is located. This is a very IMPORTANT part of the Guardian system. This will ensure that the member's assets are found and their family and/or heirs know what they are and where they exist. The GUARDIAN should be someone the member can trust and can be anyone (family, friend, attorney, etc.) We ask for a minium of three (3) GUARDIANS so that the member is assured at least one of them will contact us and retrieve the member's information when the time comes.

  • What is unclaimed property, money or assets?
Unclaimed assets could be in your name, a relatives name or a company name in the form of savings and checking accounts, property, stocks, bonds, funds, insurance proceeds, tax returns, payroll checks, deposit boxes, union benefits or even utility deposits. These assets are unclaimed if the institution holding these assets can no longer locate you or contact you. Surprisingly, millions of dollars worth of assets go unclaimed each year and are unknown to their rightful owner. As seen on http://www.assetsrecovery.com

  • Why don't they just send me my money?
The government and various institutions don't want to spend the time and money relocating this money to its rightful owners. Sometimes it is difficult to track the correct individual with whom the assets belong and this could be very costly in finding the rightful person. Why would the government or institution want to give back over $300 billion in unclaimed assets or make any effort in doing so, they are making money off of the Interest ?

  • How do I find my unclaimed property?
You must search for unclaimed property - government agencies holding unclaimed funds will not contact you and you can sign up here for our FREE Asset Locator Report.

  • Is there one national location where I can do my search? There is no national unclaimed funds database - unclaimed assets may be held anywhere, regardless of where you now live.

  • When I search for my property and it says there is none, does that mean I have no unclaimed property?Unclaimed property databases online contain only a fraction of lost accounts available for claim.

  • If I find money held by a Federal agency could there be more somewhere else?Unclaimed money held by Federal agencies is not included in state unclaimed property databases.

  • What is INCAPACITATION? Incapacity occurs where individuals may have an inherent physical or mental condition which prevents them from achieving the normal levels of performance expected from persons of comparable age, or their ability to match current levels of performance may be caused by contracting an illness. Whatever the cause, if the resulting condition is such that individuals cannot care for themselves, or may act in ways that are against their interest.

  • Is everything unclaimed listed in these search databases? Certain types of lost assets are not included in unclaimed property databases (including government refund checks)

  • What is the average amount of unclaimed checks located?Unclaimed property claims refund checks average $800-$1000, but many are for substantially more.

  • Is there a time limit on finding my property? There are statutory time limits on some types of unclaimed property claims, so take action now!

  • Where is the most monies unclaimed held?Life insurance companies are among the largest holders of unclaimed money. More than one-quarter of all life insurance policy benefits go unclaimed and unpaid on death of the insured, due to long dormancy periods and because family members aren't always aware a policy exists.

There is no central repository or clearinghouse for unclaimed life insurance policies, and virtually no effort is made to find lost beneficiaries. Some further investigation, therefore, is often necessary to trace and recover a lost life insurance policy or unclaimed life insurance benefit.
